TB Restarts
After competing through the 2* level on her TB Mojave Moon, Katie decided to get a Young off-the-track TB, Risk It, and started the retraining process. Risk It gave her a whole new appreciation for Dressage as he excelled in that area. As well as Eventing through Novice, he took Katie to GAIG Dressage Regional Championships in Lexington, VA. They competed in Training and First Level with scores in the 70% and up. Risk It is now with a wonderful family helping a teenager gain confidence in Eventing and her mom is having fun using him in Dressage.
Katie next off-the-track restart was Strawberry Muffin. Muffin was the complete opposite of Risk It, as she is a fiery red headed mare! She had multiple top level placings at BN and Novice Eventing. Muffin was not one for Dressage at the beginning of her restart career, however she turned that around after some time and patience. Muffin is now happily helping an older gentleman achieve his Dressage and Eventing goals.
Katie most recently restarted, Shabrung Behzaad, AKA "Hero". He is the youngest restart Katie has taken on, at only 3 years old. Hero was a very exciting young horse and now is with his new person pursing his Eventing career.
